FAQ
Do I have to complete the arrival card online before arrival?
Not always. Whether you need to file online in advance, use on-site devices or complete a paper card usually depends on the official system, entry port and on-site instructions. Follow the official NIA page and port staff instructions.
What if the official page does not open?
Try another browser, check the network or retry later. If it still does not open before arrival, follow on-site devices and staff instructions at the port.
What if I do not have a Chinese name?
If you do not have a Chinese name, usually follow the official system prompt instead of inventing or translating one. English names should match the passport.
What if I do not know my address in China?
Before departure, confirm the full address and phone number with your hotel, inviter, host or receiving organization. Do not write only the city name; save the Chinese version if the system asks for it.
Do transit visa-free travelers need to complete it?
Possibly. It depends on the transit arrangement, whether you leave the restricted port area and on-site requirements. Follow the official page and port instructions.
Can I help my companion complete it?
You may assist according to the actual situation, but companion information should be based on that person's own documents and itinerary. The companion or guardian should review it before submission.
What should I save after submission?
If the official system provides confirmation information, a screenshot, reference number or prompt, save it. Also keep passport, visa or visa-free basis, accommodation address and outbound transport information available.
Can this website submit the form for me?
No. This site only provides the official link, filing steps and FAQ. It does not collect, store or submit any arrival card information.
